We apply a ceramic coating to the surface of the LiBS separator to increase mechanical strength and thermal resistance. We are divided into three main areas: Mixer, Coating and Slitting.
In the Mixer area we prepare the ceramic solution for coating. Its main ingredients are demineralized water and ceramic powder.
The coating area is where we combine the previously prepared solution with the LiBS foil using a laser engraved roll and then dry it in an oven with warm air. The foil is passed through the oven without contact with machine elements. The transport of rolls from the warehouse and the coating process itself are highly automated. We can coat at a speed of up to 140m/min.
In the Slitting area, we cut the separator to the width specified by the customer. For the good of the product, there is an atmosphere with reduced air humidity. This is the last process before packaging, so we attach great importance to the cleanliness of the air and the workplace.
